Designed
to create seamless, cinema-like images from conventional NTSC, PAL,
or SECAM video sources, the DWIN LD-10 is a modestly priced line doubler
derived from the revolutionary DWIN TranScanner™ Variable Line Multiplier™.
The LD-10 takes inputs in component, S-Video, or composite form and
outputs RGB video at a scan frequency of 31.5 kHz..
|
|
With
video formats in transition to DVD and the forthcoming digital TV
broadcasts, the LD-10 sets the stage by providing two independent
component video inputs. The color and luminance information carried
be these inputs enable the LD-10 to deliver the full potential of
DVD, unburdened by the need to decode NTSC color. The result is a
remarkably sharp, clear, full-definition image free of color crawl
and saturation problems.
|
|
Like
the TranScanner, the LD-10 features an improved version of DWIN's
acclaimed Film Mode processing to deliver images virtually free of
motion artifacts.
|
|
Complete
image controls are provided through on-screen menus and an RS232 control
port, including signal processing bandwidth selection, and color and
tint controls for the component video inputs.
|
| Designed and
built in the U.S., the DWIN LD-10 makes high-performance home theater
affordable to a broad range of video enthusiasts. |
