No More Busy Signals
Flash ACD answers each incoming call immediately and forwards it to the next available agent or designated employee. If all are busy, Flash ACD holds the call in queue, where customers hear recorded announcements promoting your products and services. As soon as an agent or employee is available, Flash ACD instantly forwards the call.

Efficient Call Handling
Flash ACD makes it easy to create a small formal or informal order desk, reservations office, customer service department or technical support center. You can handle more customer calls with fewer people, while still offering quick and efficient service to your customers.

Fewer calls on hold means you can reduce incoming long distance charges and reduce the chance of abandoned calls.

Simple to Set Up and Use
Flash ACD takes the complexity out of call center technology. System administration can be easily handled from any password-protected Norstar station set with a two-line display.

Flash ACD's simple, intuitive approach and display messages help employees quickly start using the system -- with little or no training.

The Norstar display "walks" users through each feature, essentially "teaching" the agent or employee how to use the system.
The display shows helpful information, such as which group the call is for and the number of calls waiting in queue.
Indicator keys also communicate call information. For example, a flashing indicator next to the "login" key means calls are waiting in queue. The more calls, the faster it flashes.

While employees can log into the system from any Norstar station set -- and their phones remain fully functional for any purpose.

Voice Mailbox
With Flash ACD, you can offer waiting callers the option of leaving a message in a general voice mailbox. For additional messaging capabilities, Flash Voice Mail is the ideal choice. Calls can then be transferred to any of the 48 individual mailboxes.

Since both systems operate on a single platform, you get the advantages of both for a minimal investment.
